Bursary Advice
Financial support to study at Notre Dame Sixth Form.
16–19 Bursary
Notre Dame High School will target the 16 – 19 Bursary to ensure that it reaches students who face significant barriers to participating in education and will target funds to help the students in greatest need. In doing so, we have a duty to ensure that the money is spent in ways which help to break down the barriers and deals with the costs of being in education.
All payments are subject to students meeting agreed standards and targets. There are 3 targets: attendance, behaviour & organisation of work. The targets will be reviewed and set annually by the Director of Sixth Form and Assistant Director of Sixth Form. Failure to meet the targets may result in payments being withheld.
Application Process and Payments
From this year, applications to the Bursary Scheme should be made electronically. All year 12 students have been provided with the link to make an application. Year 13 students have been invited to request access to the application software by emailing bursary@ndhs.org.uk.
More information about the Scheme, including eligibility criteria, can be found in our policies in the About Us section of this website. Queries regarding the bursary should be made via email to bursary@ndhs.org.uk. Students can apply for access to the Bursary Scheme at any time, for example, if the household circumstances change during the academic year.
